On Memorial Day, we remember those who gave their lives serving in the military. My great uncle Patsy enlisted in June 1942 and served for nearly 2 years. He never returned to his family after the D-Day invasion and is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery in Laurent-Sur-Mar, France.
