We aim to serve Chatham County one pint at a time.

All our beers are made on site at our brewery and taproom in Pittsboro with ultra-purified reverse osmosis water, which allows better batch-to-batch consistency of our beers. We source ingredients as locally as possible, using grains from Epiphany Craft Malt in Durham, hops frown at Bee Hoppy Farms in Chatham County, pumpkins or sweet potatoes grown on site by Copeland Springs Kitchen & Farm, or coffee roasted on site by Vortex Roasters. We are all about sustainability and community, using as much solar power as possible to run the brewery and taproom and process spent grains into flour to make our delicious cookies.

Why cookies? As Bite My Cookies Brewing Company, we’ve been making cookies from spent grain for several years, and it gives us a fun story (and cookies) to share with customers.

We want to support our community by partnering with local non-profits and creating and maintaining jobs filled by folks who love craft beer and enjoy helping customers discover new styles of beer.

Hidden gem of a brewery. Beers are good-to-amazing. No stinkers. Creative recipes and well executed old world styles. Some standouts include Cascades Of Insanity, Kolsch, and Mannekin. Many locally sourced ingredients. While the taproom itself is tiny, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available in connected spaces. Several dining options within feet if the brewery. Also cidery, and meadery in the same complex. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cool vibes. One of the best spots in central NC. ~ Peter Hauschild

Way-out yet well-done brews. Overall matches the hippy-dippy vibe of The Plant. The bartenders, space, and overall vibe were very cool too. ~Aaron Wendt

“More people need to drink this beer. Something for everyone. Very wide variety. Unlike most places: it’s not 90% IPAs. Thanks for that. Beautiful surroundings at the Plant. Drink in whatever setting you like the most.” ~ Courtney Prothero

“Fantastic place. All the beer is brewed in a unique building converted to a quirky brewery/taproom. At least 18 beers are on tap all the time with some other locally made options of cider, mead, and wine. The beer is top notch and true to original styles. Get a flight so you can try more and make sure to get the Imperial Pilsner. I really enjoyed talking to the owners the other night during a quiet time. This is definitely a hidden gem in Pittsboro.” ~Chris White

“Wow – we loved our first visit to this place! The cream ale was delicious, there is a ton of outdoor and indoor seating, great music playing, and and awesome selection of board games. I love the logo and design choices, and you can’t beat the location! A new favorite for sure!” ~ Beth Campbell

“Met here this evening for a meeting with some friends and was pleasantly surprised with how kickass the folks who were working there and how delicious the beers tasted!! Can’t wait to eat more cookies later (also delicious!) and will definitely be back by ASAP!!!” ~Karmen Bulmer

“Great place to hang out!” ~Carol Sanders
